Abstract In order to effectively implement the national "12th Five-Year Plan," a mobilization conference titled "Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction: Clean Production Audit" was held on May 30, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the first-floor lobby of Henan Fenike Superhard Materials Co., Ltd. The event aimed to promote the company’s commitment to sustainable development and environmental responsibility. Attendees included high-ranking officials from the Zhengzhou Environmental Protection Bureau, local environmental agencies, and key representatives from the company.
The meeting was attended by several notable figures, including Lu Jihong, Director of the Zhengzhou Environmental Protection Bureau; Song Naiheng, Director of the Environmental Protection Bureau of the Zhengzhou High-tech Zone; Ms. Shen, General Manager of Environmental Protection Consulting; Yu Hua, General Manager of Fu Nike; Li Lin, Secretary of the Board of Directors; Zhu Yahui, Production Director; and Liu Jun, System Operations Director. Additionally, workshop supervisors, employees, and management personnel from the company were present.
The main purpose of the conference was to encourage all staff members of Fenike to actively engage in the "energy saving and emission reduction" clean production audit process. By doing so, the company aims to improve its environmental performance, meet regulatory requirements, and contribute to a greener future. The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration between government authorities and industry leaders to ensure that the audit is completed efficiently and effectively.
The event was chaired by Mr. Li Lin, Secretary of the Board of Fu Nike, who opened the session with an inspiring speech. Following him, Yu Hua, General Manager of Fu Nike, delivered a detailed report on the company's current initiatives and future goals regarding clean production. Lu Jihong, Director of the Zhengzhou Environmental Protection Bureau, also shared his insights and encouraged the company to continue its efforts in environmental protection.
Through this mobilization meeting, Fenike employees gained a clearer understanding of their roles in supporting energy conservation and emission reduction. The company remains committed to fostering a culture of sustainability and continuous improvement in its operations.
