Domestic stone machinery and equipment assembly technology and precautions

When assembling stone machinery and equipment, the process and requirements vary depending on the type of equipment. Therefore, manufacturers must ensure high-quality assembly that strictly follows the technical specifications for each product. Proper assembly is crucial to guarantee performance, safety, and longevity of the machinery.

Based on the standard flow of mechanical equipment, here are some key considerations to keep in mind during the assembly process:

1. Ensure all parts are thoroughly cleaned before assembly. This includes removing any residual sand, rust, or chips from the manufacturing process. For critical components like the gantry cutting machine, the internal cavity should be coated with anti-rust paint. Use diesel, kerosene, or gasoline as a cleaning agent, then dry the parts with compressed air to remove any remaining residue.

2. Lubricate the mating surfaces before fitting or connecting them. This is especially important for components such as bearings in the headstock and screw nuts in lifting mechanisms to reduce friction and prevent wear.

3. Verify the accuracy of the dimensions of the mating parts. During assembly, re-measure or sample-check critical dimensions such as the main shaft journal and bearing joint, or the hole in the headstock and its center distance to ensure proper fit and alignment.

4. When assembling gears, make sure their axes are parallel and lie in the same plane. The normal tooth clearance should be maintained, and axial misalignment should not exceed 2mm to avoid uneven load distribution and potential damage.

5. Check the flatness and deformation of the joint surfaces. If there are burrs or irregularities, remove them to ensure a tight, smooth, and properly aligned connection.

6. When installing seals, press them into the groove evenly without twisting or deforming them. Avoid damaging the sealing surface to maintain an effective seal.

7. For pulley assembly, ensure the axes of both pulleys are parallel and the grooves are aligned correctly. Excessive offset can cause uneven belt tension, leading to slippage and accelerated wear. Before assembly, match V-belts by length to prevent vibration and ensure smooth transmission.

8. Clean bearings before installation by removing the anti-rust coating. Inspect the raceway and rolling elements for rust or damage, and ensure smooth rotation. Apply a thin layer of lubricant to the contact surface. If excessive force is required, stop and check the reason. Always install the bearing with the model number facing inward and toward the shoulder. Apply even, symmetrical pressure when tapping, avoiding direct impact to prevent misalignment or damage.

9. Use anti-loose devices for threaded connections based on design and application requirements. Common methods include double nuts, spring washers, cotter pins, lock washers, and flower pads. Tighten bolts symmetrically, starting from the center and moving outward to ensure even pressure. The bolt ends should protrude slightly from the nut for visibility and inspection purposes.

10. Continuously inspect the assembly process to catch any issues early and ensure everything is being done correctly.

11. Conduct thorough pre-startup inspections. Check the integrity of the assembly, the accuracy of joints, the flexibility of moving parts, and the functionality of the lubrication system.

12. Monitor the startup process closely. Observe key parameters such as speed, motion smoothness, spindle rotation, oil pressure, temperature, vibration, and noise. Only proceed with testing once these parameters are stable and within acceptable limits.

13. Perform trial runs according to the acceptance criteria for each type of stone machinery. This may include adjusting and testing cutting speed and stroke, verifying lifting movement range, and checking spindle rotation accuracy to ensure optimal performance.
