How to make waterproof level test

Today I'm going to explain about the waterproof level. Waterproof grades mainly include construction waterproof grades, instrumentation waterproof and dustproof grades. Mainly based on the nature of the building, the degree of importance, the use of functional requirements, the characteristics of the building structure and durability of the waterproof layer to determine. The following conditions are taken into account when classifying the waterproof rating: 1 It will cause great losses after leakage, until personal injury or death; 2 It will cause major economic losses after leakage; 3 It will cause general economic losses after leakage; 4 Leakage It will affect the appearance. In order to avoid unnecessary losses, it is necessary to perform waterproof level detection ! Today, I will teach you how to perform the relevant knowledge of waterproof level detection .

What is the waterproof rating

The waterproof rating is the level of the waterproof protection function determined according to the nature of the building, the functional requirements, the degree of importance, and the durability period. The division of the waterproof grades comprehensively considers whether there will be significant losses (personal casualties, economic losses) after infiltration, and whether it will affect the appearance and other factors after infiltration.

According to the international industrial standard, the waterproof grade IP and the Japanese industrial standard are similar to the JIS waterproof grades and are divided into 9 grades, ie 0-8 grades. IPxx is usually used to indicate the level of protection against dust and water. The dust level is neglected here and the waterproof level is directly introduced.

The second x in IPxx indicates the waterproof rating, which is divided into 10 levels of 0-9.

0 no protection level

1 Anti-drip type I: Dropped water drops dropped into the enclosure without harmful effects

2 Anti-Drip Type II: Drops of water dropped within 15 degrees from the vertical direction drip into the housing without harmful effects

3 Rainproof type: There is no harmful effect of precipitation in the range of 60 degrees from the vertical

4 splash-proof: no adverse effects of water splashed in any direction

5 Anti-injection type: Water directly sprayed in any direction has no harmful effect

6 Water resistant: Water that is directly sprayed in any direction will not enter the interior

7 Immersion type: When immersed in water under specified conditions, it will not enter the interior

8 underwater type: long time immersed in a certain pressure of water can still be used

9 Moisture proof type: It can still be used in a humidity environment with relatively high relative humidity less than 90%.

Waterproof level detection

(1) IPx1 detection:

Using the vertical drip test method, a drip test device was used to drip 10.5 mm/min vertically at a distance of no more than 200 mm from the sample, and drip was continued for 10 min.

(2) IPx2 detection:

Tilting 15 degree dripping test method, using the drip test device to dribble at 15 degrees where the sample is not more than 200mm, one face per test, change 1 face to test, total test 4 times. The amount of drip is 30.5mm/min, and each time it lasts 2.5min, 4 times.

(3) IPx3 detection:

Drenching test method. Use a suitable diameter pendulum tube placed over the sample and the sample centered on the semicircle of the pendulum tube. The height is not more than 200mm. In the forest water, spray holes were sprayed on the samples in the 60-degree arc on both sides of the pendulum. The oscillating tube swings each 60 degrees along the vertical line, for a total of 120 degrees. Each swing time is 4 seconds, and the water is continuously poured for 10 minutes.

(4) IPx4 detection:

Splash test method. Same as IPx3, except that the water spray area is replaced by 90 degrees on each side of the pendulum tube. Swing 12s each time for 10 minutes.

(5) IPx5 detection:

Water spray test method. Prepare a nozzle with a spray nozzle of 6.3 mm and spray at a distance of 2.5 to 3 m from the sample. The water flow rate is 12.5 L/min (750 L/h). 1min per square meter, detection 3min.

(6) IPx6 detection:

Strong water spray test method. Prepare a nozzle with a 12.5mm nozzle and spray at a distance of 2.5 to 3m from the sample. The flow rate is 100L/min (6000L/h). Test 3min.

(7) IPx7 detection:

Short-term flooding test method. Prepare an immersed water tank to meet the requirement that after the sample is placed in the immersion tank, the distance from the bottom of the sample to the surface of the water is greater than 1 m, and the distance from the top of the sample to the surface of the water is greater than 0.15 m.

(8) IPx8 detection:

The test intensity is higher than IPx7, and the test method is determined by the supply and demand sides.

Waterproof rating

How to check the waterproof rating

For a watch, its waterproof rating does not depend solely on the salesman’s side of the watch to make judgments. We should go through this level of protection on our own. General waterproof watches will be represented by specific English letters, and the craftsmanship is also using special advanced waterproof measures. When we look at the waterproof grade, we mainly use two methods: one is the waterproof description of the watch, and each waterproof watch is provided with a special waterproof explanatory diagram, which specifies the waterproof rating of the watch, generally divided according to the water depth, such as 50m waterproof grade. , 100m waterproof rating, and in the waterproof matching diagram of the watch, the manufacturer will use blue to indicate the phone can withstand the degree of waterproof.

Another way is through the waterproof logo on the back cover of the watch. The back cover of each waterproof watch is specially processed. There are various kinds of marks on it, such as a waterproof mark. When the mark shows 5 meters, it shows the watch. Waterproof is waterproof for ordinary life, ie it is only suitable for splashing water or rainwater in daily life; when the mark is 50 meters, it means that the watch is 50m waterproof, suitable for use in general wet places; and when the mark is 100 meters, this The waterproof rating of the watch is 100m waterproof. Even if it is soaked in water for a long time, the functions of the watch will not be adversely affected.

Waterproof rating

Roof waterproofing grade is divided into I~IV: I-level fortification refers to particularly important, for water-repellent projects with special requirements, it requires a reasonable use period of 25 years. The II-level fortifications are for the most part, for important buildings and high-rise buildings, for 15 years. Grade III refers to the average building, 10 years. Level IV is a temporary permanent building, five years.

Waterproof grade years

The term of the waterproof rating of a building refers to the reasonable service life of the waterproofing that should be considered when the building is constructed. It has a grade difference, which is determined according to the nature of the building, the degree of importance, the use of functional requirements, and structural characteristics. In addition, consider the durability of the waterproof layer.

Different grades, the use of buildings are also different, the severity of the consequences caused by leakage is also different, but also the selection of waterproof material is also different, the fortification requirements are also different. In general, the waterproof rating of a building's roof is divided into four levels:

Level 1, especially important for water-repellent buildings with special requirements, such as national museums, national archives, international airports, important monuments, etc., with a waterproof period of 25 years;

Second grade, important or high-rise buildings, such as urban large-scale public buildings, libraries, hospitals, star hotels, theaters, stations and other levels of more than 12 high-rise buildings, waterproof for 15 years;

Grade 3, general construction, such as ordinary houses, schools, hotels, civil buildings, general office buildings, etc., waterproof for 10 years;

Class 4, non-permanent buildings, such as simple dormitory, workshop, etc., waterproof for 5 years.

Necessity of waterproof grade years

The waterproof rating of a building is related to the quality of the project. It is not only related to the quality of the waterproof material, but also related to the design level of the building, construction practices, construction processes, construction quality, working conditions, and management and maintenance. Therefore, it is important to understand the use of buildings and determine the length of their waterproof grades to improve project quality and user use.

In particular, waterproofing, seepage and leakage of buildings, lighter plots can affect aesthetics, or cause moldy damage on walls and inside furniture, etc., causing economic losses; slightly serious leaks can also lead to collapse of houses and electrical short circuits. Causes fire, causing great economic losses; serious leakage problems can cause huge losses, and even cause human casualties.

Editing summary: The above is how to do the waterproof level detection waterproof classification standards related knowledge, different industries have different levels of waterproof, such as the construction industry, we can learn more about the various levels of waterproof, so as to be more A comprehensive understanding of the practical significance of "waterproof rating".
