The crystal door panel is called a crystal plate because of its brightness. The substrate is made of medium-density board or particle board, and the surface is pasted with “plexiglass board†(commonly known as Acrylic), and the thickness is about 2 to 3 mm.
The crystal door panel has poor wear resistance, scratch resistance and flame retardancy, and has no compression resistance. It is very sensitive to temperature and will change color when heated for a long time. The cost of raw materials is slightly lower than that of refractory boards, and the price is also low. Now the price of “crystal plates†on the market is about 200 to 300 yuan per square meter. The crystal plate is not an ideal material for the cabinet door, and its comprehensive performance is not suitable for the domestic kitchen environment.
