On October 27th, the porcelain insulators of the UHV transmission and transformation series independently developed by Sinoma Corporation passed the expert appraisal organized by the China Electric Power Association. The successful development of this product not only satisfies China's demand for UHV construction, but also indicates that Sinoma Group's pillar insulator manufacturing level has reached the international advanced level.
The porcelain pillar insulators for UHV power transmission and transformation have large dimensions, high strength, good dirt resistance, good anti-seismic performance, and are difficult to manufacture. In order to meet the country's demand for UHV construction, Sinoma High-Tech Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the Sinoma Group, has independently invested in the research and development of series porcelain post insulators for UHV transmission and transformation since 2009. The Expert Appraisal Committee believes that the integrated technical performance of DC ±1100kV, ±800kV and AC 1100kV UHV ceramic post insulators developed by Sinoma High-tech Materials Corporation has reached the international advanced level.
The pillar insulators are the key materials for power transmission lines, and the UHV ceramic post insulators are urgently needed materials for the construction of the national “Twelfth Five Year†UHV power grid. Experts at the meeting suggested that Sinoma High-tech Materials Co., Ltd. expand the scale of production as soon as possible, accumulate operating experience, and meet the development needs of the national ultra high voltage power grid construction and power transmission and transformation equipment manufacturing industry.
