Phytotoxicity caused by herbicides

The main reasons for this phenomenon: (1) due to the lack of purity of some domestic nicosulfuron, causing phytotoxicity. (2) Spraying or re-spraying at high temperature also causes phytotoxicity. (3) If the herbicide is applied too late, the corn will produce phytotoxicity of the onion tubular leaves.
Control measures: After the phytotoxicity occurs, if the heart leaf is not distorted, it will not affect the extraction of the ear, and the fast-acting nitrogen fertilizer can be chased and watered, and normal growth can be resumed after one week. If the twist is serious, the heart should be broken by manual means, and fertilized and watered. Some foliar fertilizer can be sprayed and some zinc and boron fertilizers can be added.
Caused by pests
When the corn shows twisting of the heart leaf, shrinkage of the leaf, shrinkage of the leaves, etc., it is likely to be caused by the thrips or swedish flies in the 5-6 leaf stage of the corn. Precautionary measures: It should be prevented in the early stage. 20% of imidacloprid WP can be used in the seedling stage, and sprayed with 30 kg of water, and the corn leaf should be sprayed with emphasis.
