The blast furnace of the Ironmaking Department of Qiangang Company was inspected 24 hours a day ago, focusing on the replacement of No. 1 hot blast stove gas shut-off valve and No. 2 and No. 3 hot blast stove gas combustion valves.
Due to factors such as rust, corrosion, thermal expansion and contraction, the bolts on the flange of the hot air furnace gas shut-off valve are often unable to loosen after being stuck for a period of use. Therefore, in the past maintenance, the maintenance personnel can only use the welder to cut the stuck bolt flame. During the overhaul, the workers gave up the conventional welding machine and used tools such as casings and wrenches to dismantle them. Song Yunshan, the equipment management room of the iron making operation department, explained the reason for this change.
Since the beginning of this year, iron and steel equipment management personnel and on-site personnel have strengthened the maintenance of bolts. When bolts are tightened, the thickness of the bolts is strictly measured, and the degree of bolt tightening is strictly specified to avoid excessive tightening and damage to the bolts. . Before the inspection, they used the waste oil recovered from hydraulics, fans and other systems to lubricate the bolts one week in advance, which was used for protective demolition and reduced spare parts costs. Tools such as casings and wrenches are used for protective removal.
At 8 pm that day, 136 of the 264 bolts removed were returned to the "post". Song Yunshan said that according to the maintenance plan of the three blast furnaces in 2015, only the bolts in the hot blast stove area will be scrapped, which can save more than 100,000 yuan.
