When applied to a strip production line, it is not practical to use silicon carbide as the outer tube because one rupture will damage the entire radiant tube. In response to this situation, Hauck patented a flexible silicon carbide inner liner called Sicaflex. As a result, even if a horizontally mounted alloy outer tube is bent at a high temperature, it will not cause damage to the inner silicon carbide tube. .
