The granulation system is the finishing project for the expansion and expansion of the ABS plant from 50,000 tons/year to 100,000 tons/year. Whether the system can start smoothly on schedule directly affects the completion of the production tasks of the ABS plant in 2006, and it also affects the opening of the 11th Five-Year Plan of the entire petrochemical plant. The new granulation system of ABS is composed of three parts: mixing metering, extrusion granulation and air delivery. The designed production capacity is 50,000 tons/year. The blending metering system adopts an advanced and high-precision "weight loss measurement" method, and reduces the raw material blending process, simplifies the production process, improves the degree of production continuity, and saves a large amount of equipment and personnel investment. The extruder and its ancillary system are provided by the German CWP company. It has the advantages of high automation, PLC remote control and large production capacity. The maximum production capacity can reach 8 tons/hour. After the production, the production of ABS blending device will be made. The capacity has been more than doubled, and the workload of the staff has been reduced, and the smooth running rate of the equipment has been improved. The granulation system adopts the underwater pelletizing process, which shortens the process of beam cooling, reduces the noise of equipment operation, reduces the occurrence of abnormal phenomena such as slumps and stockpiling, and reduces desalination due to the use of pellet water circulation. The amount of water used will reduce the energy consumption and material consumption of the product. Compared with the old line, the air delivery system has increased the product blending process to ensure the quality of the ABS product is more stable.
From preliminary design and drawing review to renovation and construction, with the help of the relevant office of the main plant, the chemical plant will work hard to ensure the smooth start of the new granulation system. During the installation process, the ABS workshop cadres and workers and the construction unit carried forward the spirit of “hard work and continuous combatâ€, put all the energy into the work, carefully coordinated, carefully organized inspection, trial operation, joint adjustment work, Driving successfully and paving the way for success. Especially in the process of introduction, commissioning and start-up of public works, ABS workshop leaders and technicians are divided into pieces and clear responsibilities. According to the management requirements of “four modernizations†and “three investigations and four determinationsâ€, every link in the starting process is completed. Party members and cadres set an example by staying at the scene day and night, which greatly encouraged the enthusiasm of all employees. Since the equipment was installed before and after the Spring Festival, they overcome the difficulties of cold weather, large dust, complicated construction personnel, and short construction period to debug the field equipment one by one. At the same time, the construction, start-up and production of the old granulation line are carried out at the same time. In the case of cross-site operation, the workshop repeatedly requires the participants to participate in the war. All operations must be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements and procedures of the HSE management system, and resolutely put an end to the violations. In the case of quality and quantity guarantee, the string of safety should be tightened at all times to ensure the smooth progress of the expansion and reconstruction work.
The driving of the new granulation system has greatly increased the production capacity of the ABS unit. At the same time, it will also drive the sales revenue and market competitiveness of the chemical plant to be comprehensively improved, laying a solid foundation for the implementation of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan†of the plant.
