Several major geothermal heat pump markets in China

As the current important renewable energy source, ground source heat pump has been widely and successfully applied in the country. Especially in some economically more developed regions, the development of ground source heat pump market is even more gratifying. The Cooling Express reporter made a brief summary of several representative and typical markets.

Beijing: "Olympic effect" has achieved initial results

At present, the total installed area of ground-source heat pump projects in Beijing has exceeded 18 million square meters. During the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, it is planned to install 6 million square meters each year. It is estimated that by 2010, the total installed area of ground-source heat pump projects in the city will reach 35 million square meters.

According to statistics, in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, 358 “Green Olympics” projects were implemented, including 69 new energy projects, 168 building energy-saving projects, and 121 water resources projects. Nine solar-powered hot water systems were built for the Olympic project; ground-source heat pumps were built for four projects, water-source heat pumps were built for three projects, and two projects directly used geothermal heat. The Beijing Olympic Stadium "Bird's Nest" uses a ground-source heat pump system. Through the buried heat exchange tubes, the heat contained in the soil is absorbed in the winter to supply heat to the "bird's nest". In the summer, the cold stored in the soil is absorbed into the "bird's nest". Cold.

In the 2 million square meter Olympic project, 26.7% of the area uses green energy such as renewable energy. The energy saved by 168 building energy-saving projects is equivalent to a reduction of 200,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year.

Shenyang: The annual application area is no less than 16 million square meters

On September 29, 2006, at the “Promotion of Ground Source Heat Pump System Construction and Application Site Conference in Shenyang”, Liang Junqiang, deputy director of the Resource Conservation Office of the former Ministry of Construction, announced that Shenyang City had been identified as a pilot city for ground-source heat pump technology promotion in China. On November 11, 2006, the General Office of the Shenyang Municipal Government issued a document on "Implementation Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction and Application of Ground-Source Heat Pump Systems." The local government decided to comprehensively promote the construction and application of ground source heat pump systems based on the 3.12 million square meters of ground source heat pump heating (cooling) area in Shenyang City.

The Shenyang Municipal Government clearly stipulates that since 2008, the area for the construction and application of ground source heat pump technology will be no less than 16 million square meters each year, including 10 million square meters of new construction and 6 million square meters of reconstruction and reconstruction. As of the end of 2008, Shenyang City has completed 29 million square meters, and it is expected that by the end of 2010, the application area of ground source heat pump technology will be 65 million square meters, accounting for 32.5% of the city's current heating area. The document stipulates that ground-source heat pump technology should be used in principle for all projects that have been declared but not yet approved, and that have already been approved but have not yet commenced construction; in principle, projects that have been started but are not completed should be replaced by land use. Source heat pump technology; reform of energy-intensive public construction projects such as offices, hotels, hotels, office buildings, etc. that have already been put into use; use of ground-source heat pump technology; and the availability of residential projects that have already been put into use. Next, we will reform the projects with poor heating quality and adopt ground-source heat pump technology. At the same time, the Shenyang Municipal Government has provided support policies for relevant units using ground-source heat pumps, including granting financial support, providing technical guarantees, strengthening government services, and fostering industrial development.

Chongqing: Using Heat Pump Units for High Subsidies

The application of ground-source heat pump technology in Chongqing ranks first in the country. The local area already has a B3/01 landblock in Huazhong District Hualongqiao Project, a comprehensive building for business people in Kai County, and a Pearl River? Four projects such as Sun City and the Nanjiang Hydrogeology and Geological Engineering Geological Team fundraising building were selected as national-level renewable energy building application demonstration projects and received approximately 30 million yuan of state financial assistance. Experiments show that the use of river water source heat pump units in Chongqing can save about 30% energy compared with conventional air conditioning systems. The biggest advantage of the local promotion of geothermal heat pump is that the underground is mostly sandstone, with high density and high thermal conductivity. The heat transfer performance of underground pipes is 15%~20% higher than that of Beijing and Shanghai; the disadvantage is the summer cooling load in Chongqing. Far more than the heating load in winter, it is difficult to maintain the balance between the absorption and heat release of underground rock and soil. Complex geothermal heat pump systems and other complex technologies are required.

It is understood that the "Interim Measures for the Administration of Special Subsidy Funds for Chongqing Renewable Energy Building Application Demonstration Project" recently introduced in the local government stipulates that for the use of renewable energy heat pump unit air-conditioning, the unit's rated cooling capacity per kilowatt subsidy of RMB 800 The use of renewable energy to provide domestic hot water high-temperature heat pump unit, according to the unit rated heating capacity per kilowatt subsidy *** 900 yuan.

Qingdao: Achieve a major breakthrough in the scope of promotion

Qingdao City adopts a supervision model combining service and supervision, management and guidance, vigorously promotes the use of ground-source heat pump technology, guides the sustainable development of the real estate industry and the construction industry, and achieves the unity of economic benefits, environmental benefits, and social benefits.

In 2006, the third-phase residential project of Millennium International Village in Chengyang District, Qingdao was the first to adopt ground-source heat pump technology in the city. Based on the success of the pilot, ground-source heat pump technology soon entered the stage of promotion and use in Qingdao. After only two years of promotion, only Chengyang District, Qingdao City, has nine ground-source heat pump air-conditioning technologies in 9 construction projects with a total area of about 600,000 square meters. At the same time, Qingdao has also achieved major breakthroughs in the scope of its use. It has expanded from the original single residential development project to other types of construction projects. At present, ground-source heat pump technology is used in industrial projects such as Yinshengtai Business Port, Chengyang Economic and Trade Center, Haidu International, Blue Diamond Business and other public buildings, and Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Works.

Guangdong: Heat pump industry capacity will be "blowout"

In 2003, ground-source heat pump manufacturers and sales markets began to enter a period of rapid growth. At present, the Guangdong region has become the most important production base and consumer market for China's heat pump industry. According to incomplete statistics, currently there are about 197 heat pump companies in Guangdong, mainly located in Guangzhou, Dongguan, Foshan, Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and Shenzhen. Among them, there are 67 in Guangzhou, 51 in Foshan, and 26 in Dongguan.

The number of heat pump companies in Guangdong accounted for more than half of the country, and more than 80% of the larger companies have gathered here. It is estimated that the heat pump industry in Guangdong has a capacity of at least 65% of the national total. In addition, the Guangdong heat pump industry is in a period of rapid growth, which has resulted in a large amount of capital injection and the number of companies has increased dramatically. Authoritative experts predict that due to the promising prospects of the heat pump industry, many home appliance companies and other capitals will soon enter the heat pump market in the near future, and Guangdong's heat pump industry capacity will expand rapidly in the next few years.
