In the copper smelting industry in China, the “Golden Field Law†is famous for its green efficiency. The production efficiency of this technical result is 10 times higher than that of traditional technology, and smoke and dust emission is only 1/5 of the national standard. This achievement has already applied for 8 national invention patents and won the first prize for scientific and technological progress in China's non-ferrous metals industry.
Smoke and dust pollution is a long-standing problem in the smelting industry. For the original copper alloy smelting furnace and holding furnace as a separate structure, the converter has a large number of environmental problems when the zinc oxide dust is dissipated. Jintian Copper independently researched and developed the “submersible diversion-furnace fixed housing cover-bag dust removalâ€. The core of a series of technologies and equipment to solve the problem of serious smoke and dust pollution of yellow copper smelting. Since then, Jintian Copper has invested more than RMB 9 million to transform 33 sets of water film dust removal facilities with two pollution defects into a bag dust removal device. After the transformation, the fume discharged from the smelting furnace was turned into a transparent color from black cyan, the dust in the production workshop was almost extinct, and the company’s original five chimneys were subsequently dismantled. Monitoring by the Ningbo Environmental Protection Bureau, Jintian Copper's exhaust fume emission concentration is 12 to 27.7 milligrams per cubic meter, which is far lower than the national standard for air pollutant emissions of 100 milligrams per cubic meter.
