History of lifts

The earliest appearance of similar lifts dates back to ancient China and European countries. At that time, people and goods were transported vertically by means of gongs and other tools. The modern elevator was the product of the invention of the steam engine in the 19th century. In 1845, the first hydraulic lift was born, and the liquid used at that time was water. In 1853, the American Elisha Otis invented the automatic safety device and greatly improved the safety of the cable traction elevator.
On March 23, 1857, a five-story store in New York City, USA installed the first passenger lift using Otis safety devices. Since then, the use of elevators has been widely accepted and developed at a high speed. The initial lift was driven by a steam engine, so the building must be equipped with a boiler house. In 1880, German Siemens invented elevators that used electricity. From then on, a truly "lift" came into being. Since then, the use of elevators has been widely accepted and developed at a high speed.

In modern times, we used wooden ladders to lift cargo. It was inconvenient to use and it was dangerous to climb. The first city in China to install lifts is Shanghai. In 1907, the six-story Huizhong Hotel installed two Otis elevators. The first commercial lift in Taiwan was installed in 1932 during the Japanese occupation period. It was located in Taipei City’s “Juyuan Department Store” and was called a floating cage at the time. At present, the lifts produced in China have different product models, and the lifting heights range from 4 meters, 6 meters, 18 meters, and even 100 meters. Select domestic and foreign advanced hydraulic, motor, pump station systems, hydraulic system explosion-proof devices and hydraulic self-locking devices. It has the advantages of novel design, reasonable structure, balanced lifting, simple operation, convenient maintenance and other products that cannot be replaced. Widely used in plant maintenance, industrial installation, equipment maintenance property management, storage, aviation, airports, ports, stations, machinery, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, electronics, electricity and other high-altitude equipment installation and maintenance.
