China's SKS copper smelting method successfully tested in Vietnam

According to reports, China's SKS smelting method was recently successful in a smelting furnace of Dalong Smelter Co., Ltd., a Sino-Vietnamese copper joint company. It has produced copper thorium and blister copper.

The smelting furnace of the Dalong Smelter Co., Ltd., a Sino-foreign joint venture copper company designed by China Enfi China Enfi, is a hydrometal melting furnace technology developed jointly by Enfi Engineering and Shuikoushan Nonferrous Metals Corporation. It is also known as the SKS copper smelting method. The successful trial production of the smelting furnace of Dachang Smelter Co., Ltd., a vigourous copper company in Vietnam, is a key step in the SKS copper smelting process from trial to industrialization, and it is also an important step for China’s proprietary intellectual property copper smelting technology to enter the international market.

The Dalong Smelter, a Vietnam-based crushing copper company, is the largest copper smelter in Vietnam, the first copper smelter in Vietnam's history, and the world’s first copper smelter using the SKS bottom-blown copper technology.
